seeking to provide a platform on which people can raise and discuss concerns and put forward suggestions over policing.
The Police Force should not be a distant body, about whom large sections of Society have deep mistrust, but a Force, which supports the community.
It is not for the Police to decide laws; it is for them to police the laws. Britain should not be permitted to continue its slide into the position whereby the Police decide what they will and will not do, based on dictates from Central Government, irrespective of the law.
Many people wish to see regular police officers on the beat, many police officers claim to desire this. We should not let Politicians destroy this relationship and neither should we permit the Police to operate on the fringes of legality.
Far too frequently the Police take a law intended for one purpose and twist it for their own purpose.
Yourpoliceforce.com is not intended as a police bashing site, rather as a site on which people can express their concerns and suggestions.
